Introducing A New Holiday Giving Tradition: The Cobb Thrives Gift Guide

October is nearly over and that means the holidays are almost here. If spending time with family and friends is part of your plan, then we have something special to add to the festivities: The Cobb Thrives Gift Guide! 🎁

This new tradition is all about giving. The 24-page colorful catalog features the holiday wishes of 30 nonprofits selected by a group of trained volunteers. These difference makers were asked to share special requests that have been a little harder to get funded this year, but will really make an impact on how their mission is carried out.

Available in print and online, the Cobb Thrives Gift Guide will arrive the week before Thanksgiving. It can be used a variety of ways during the holidays. The guide might be a conversation starter for families learning about charitable giving. If your club or your office team is looking for a way to make a meaningful gift, these requests have been carefully selected for their impact. So why not get your group involved and make those magical moments even more special?

What Kind of Requests Will We See?

When your mission is providing support to cancer patients during their cancer journey, getting donations for wigs and head scarfs is an easy story to tell. But what if you need new technology and training for your staff members to be the best stewards of your resources? The Cobb Thrives Gift Guide was developed to help nonprofits making a difference in our community to get those needed items funded. Inside the pages of our first gift guide are 30 organizations that have identified 3 needs to help them carry out their mission better. The featured nonprofits were selected by a group of more than 25 trained volunteers who were looking for a variety of organizations impacting our community in different ways.

This new gift guide experience is a great way to give back to your community and to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones! Look for the printed gift guide in the Marietta Daily Journal. They will also be available at other locations TBA in additiona to our website at cobbfoundation.org.
