Susan M. Tillery is President and CEO of Paraklete© Financial, Inc., a virtual family office. Susan is also President of Financial Planning Advocate, LLC, a provider of continui

ng education for CPAs and financial advisers.

Susan has 40 years of experience in tax and personal financial planning. She earned both her BBA and MAcc from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. Additionally, she is Chair of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee and past Chair of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Credential Committee.

Susan and her husband Tom have co-authored Essentials of Personal Financial Planning, a textbook used by universities in graduate programs in accounting, business, and law. They have also co-authored The AICPA Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program.

Susan has served on the boards of the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, the National Center for Stewardship and Generosity, and currently the Cobb Community Foundation. She is a member of the Cobb Chamber, Cobb Executive Women, and the 2014 Leadership Cobb Class.

She and her husband live in Kennesaw. She enjoys hiking, UGA football, the shooting range, and travel.
