Mary joined the Cobb Community Foundation team in 2021 and serves as the Communications Manager.

Mary has owned her own marketing communications business and has assisted many small businesses owners over the last 15 years. She has always enjoyed learning and likes to ‘stay curious’ about the many businesses that make up our community. Some notable associations have been The Branding Project, The Marietta Artisan Market, Marietta Art Walk, Retail Data Systems, Cherokee Heights Arts Festival, dk Gallery, and Mountain High Mulch just to name a few. But it was her involvement with the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta that got her hooked on philanthropy and created opportunities to connect trained volunteers with Cobb County nonprofits.

Mary and husband Allen live in Marietta, and although neither attended SEC schools,  they can be found every Saturday during football season cheering on the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia and of Mississippi State University. Now empty nesters, they enjoy kayaking and hiking, and many other activities with their three grown kids.
