Dr. William M. Harris Grant for Chiropractic Advancement

Cobb Community Foundation is pleased to announce a new grant funding opportunity through the Dr. William M. Harris Grant for Chiropractic Advancement.  The Dr. William M. Harris Grant for Chiropractic Advancement is dedicated to fulfilling its charitable mission of enhancing and encouraging the development and application of chiropractic profession. The purpose of the grant is to fund charitable causes that advance chiropractic education, research, and business management.

Dr. William M. Harris devoted his entire professional career to providing and promoting chiropractic care and teaching others to do the same. In 1978, he established the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Education (FACE), which eventually became the William M. Harris Grant for Chiropractic Advancement. By challenging the chiropractic profession to support similar initiatives and instituting a practice that his contributions be matched, he ensured that his contributions would be leveraged, resulting in a higher return on his investment as well as a greater impact. Our CNP (Certified Nonprofit Professional) Credential and Grant Program is back! In partnership with Kennesaw State University, we are proud to offer this grant opportunity to nonprofit leaders in our area. This six-month program consists of both an online and an in-person course that culminates in a Certified Nonprofit Professional credential by the National Leadership Alliance for the individual in the cohort and a $5,000 for the individual's nonprofit. The virtual grant seeker session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 1-2pm EDT. Email richard@cobbfoundation.org to register.
