Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Nakeia  (Niki)  began an extensive administrative career with the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission, serving for 15 years as a legal assistant to the Assistant Bar Counsel and Commission Investigator. After visiting Georgia and falling in love with Cobb County, she and her husband decided to relocate their family to Marietta in 2010 when she began working with Cobb County State Court. In 2019, her husband’s career took them to North Carolina. After working for a year as an administrative assistant with the Director of Clinical Services for the Iredell County Health Department,  her family returned to Cobb County where she continued her career with Marietta Municipal Court. Her passion for helping others and her excellent work ethic has been recognized in each organization she has had the pleasure to work with. She strives to handle each situation efficiently and with grace.

Niki continues to reside in Marietta with her husband of 20 years and their children. She enjoys family time, crafting and the NFL. Whenever time permits, she loves traveling back home to Maryland to spend time with extended family and indulge in her favorite food, Maryland crabcakes!
