Thanks to Walton Communities, and many other generous sponsors (see below), we have a $125,000+ match pool to help 27 nonprofits generate more funding for their critical work in the community: from feeding families, to supporting cancer patients, housing neighbors, mentoring youth, and much more. These non-profits will get a proportionate share of what they raise collectively between November 11 – December 2, 2025 from the match pool, and can earn up to 10% of our matching funds. And we’re thrilled to report that a little over one week into our three-week campaign, we’ve already raised $677,641—almost 70% of our $1 million goal. There are now just under two weeks left to donate, and we’ve witnessed some truly inspiring moments along the way (see below)!
Watch this video to hear what Shari Martin, President and CEO of Cobb Community Foundation has to say about the Match Magic campaign.
Every donation to our Match Magic campaign tells a story—and after just one week, we already have so many feel-good moments to share!
- Circles Cobb, Atlanta Humane Society, and Aloha to Aging have already hit their fundraising goals—and they’re not stopping there! They’re hoping to raise even more with your support.
- Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb and NAMI Cobb (National Alliance on Mental Illness) each received a generous $25,000 donation from one of their amazing supporters!
- Loving Arms Cancer Outreach launched their very first texting campaign to boost fundraising—and here’s the best part: Executive Director Janet Graham used the grant she earned through our Certificate for Nonprofit Professionals (CNP) program to make it happen. Talk about full-circle impact!
- And we had a special visitor: Marge the dog came in with Janine and her owner, Will, to deliver their donation for Backpack Blessings from the women’s circle at Mount Bethel Church. Nothing warms our hearts quite like four paws and a big wagging tail!
- And last but certainly not least, Ken Snell, Executive Director of Northside Church, stopped by once again this year—this time with a $52,000 check for Cumberland Counseling Centers and a $30,600 check for Food Security for America! Northside Church typically gives monthly, but thanks to the power of our Match Magic campaign, they chose to bundle their support into one generous annual gift to amplify impact. What an inspiring way to make their dollars go even further!
- Car Care Ministry’s David and Rebecca McCoy stopped by with donations for Car Care and Circles Cobb—and a heartwarming story. A woman came in needing an oil change, and even though Car Care is still fundraising for their new garage, David stepped in to help. The congregation quickly rallied, offering support and inviting her and her five kids to Friendsgiving. Car Care is hoping to raise $400K to complete their facility, and if they hit $200K, a private donor will match it—helping them reach their goal!

Big or small, each donation creates ripples of change in our community. Together, we’re proving that when generosity meets purpose, the results are nothing short of magical.
Here’s to many more stories of impact in the weeks to come!
