Join the Bridge. Help a Family Find Room to Breathe.

Every night in Cobb County, families are sleeping in cars, motels, and on friends’ couches — not because they don’t work hard, but because the cost of housing has outpaced their paychecks. More than 2,600 students in Cobb County and City of Marietta schools are classified as unhoused, and behind each of those numbers is a parent doing everything possible to keep their family safe.

Bridge Communities believes working families deserve more than survival — they deserve a chance to breathe, rebuild, and begin again.

The organization is building small, smart cottage communities on faith-based land, giving families a place to land and launch. These aren’t shelters or handouts. They’re resets — safe, dignified, and restorative spaces designed to help families move from crisis to stability.

Each Bridge Community offers:

  • 10–12 thoughtfully designed cottages where families can live for up to 24 months.
  • Wraparound support through church partners and local service providers.
  • A real path forward toward financial stability and permanent housing.

The first pilot community, budgeted at $1.5–$2 million, will be a model for what’s possible when faith, compassion, and collaboration come together to address homelessness at its root.

You can help make it happen.

Every donation helps transform unused land into a life-changing opportunity for a family that’s been holding on by a thread. Whether you give, volunteer, or connect us with your congregation or business, you become part of the bridge that helps families cross from survival to self-sufficiency.

Be part of the change. Help families find room to breathe.
