Feild trips are fun!
We had an incredibly peaceful morning visiting the Chattahoochee Nature Center. On a perfect Friday in October, we savored the morning surrounded by
wispy flowers, changing leaves, a waterside trail, …. and up close animal encounters. There were so many things to love about this fall visit to a real treasure in our community with fundholders, friends and Corporate Community Champions.
While we were enjoying a leisurely walk along the water, we learned about the many roles played by the CNC including education, recreation, wildlife rehabilitation, and event location. Visitors enjoy many options for an afternoon completely surrounded by nature.
We also heard from our friends at Atlanta Angels Non-Profit and Blue Thanksgiving, Inc about upcoming opportunities to assist them with some of their activities during the Holiday Season.
