COBB COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The cost of higher education continues to increase year after year, with the average cost of college tuition in Georgia in 2020-2021 at over $14,000 per year*. In 2020, 58% of families used scholarships to help offset the costs of tuition.
This year Cobb Community Foundation (CCF) has awarded over $48,000 in scholarships to 20 local students for the fall 2022 semester. These scholarships were created and funded through the generosity of individuals, community organizations and businesses that believe in the importance of education. Each award amount is different as they depend on the size of the scholarship fund and the number of qualified applicants.
Scholarships are granted for educational expenses at accredited colleges and universities and can be applied to the tuition, books, and mandatory fees.
