Welcome to our newest team member, Kim McKernie. Kim joined CCF in May as our new Foundation Associate and has hit the ground running. You may have already heard from her about meeting schedules and other activities.
Kim is a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Public Relations. She has worked with the communications departments of Atlanta United FC and the Cobb County Government over the last three years and developed a curiosity for local engagements and growth. She has always had an interest in connecting and helping people, and her involvement with athletics and county activities sparked her passion to grow and help improve her community.
A resident of Marietta, Kim is a former collegiate player and can be found watching every Women’s College World Series softball game, cheering on the Tigers of Clemson University and Sooners of University of Oklahoma. Now graduated, she enjoys playing badminton and hiking, and many other activities with her boyfriend and family.
