A few weeks ago we got a call from Hassan Hagood at Contract Business Interiors. His office furniture business had a surplus of new furniture. As a good corporate citizen, CBI wanted to donate the items to local nonprofits who might need it. Through a phone call they were connected with Simple Needs GA, a local nonprofit led by Brenda Rhodes. A CCF Fundholder agency, their team helps to meet the simple needs of children/ people coming out of homelessness, and others in need, while inspiring our community to do the same. “When businesses come together to lift up a cause the load is not so heavy,” says Hassan.
