Shari Martin Receives Collaboration Award

This month the Cobb Collaborative named our own CEO Shari Martin this year’s winner of the Bill Hanson Collaboration Award. This award was created in 2008 to honor Bill Hanson’s three decades of work and dedication to Cobb County.

In her introduction, Center For Family Resources VP Lee Smith announced, “This award goes to an individual, and the organization that she leads, that have embodied the spirit of this award for many months now. Shari convened a cross-sector group of individuals beginning in March 2020 to identify the most pressing issues of the day, organized data and supply chain management approaches to scarce resources, connected people and organizations and encouraged people to work together. Shari was instrumental in the first round of funding from our county government being approved and continues to advocate for responsible investments from a variety of funders to this day.”

We are honored that Shari has been recognized in this way, and look forward to future collaborations which fulfill our mission inspiring charitable giving, building resources for the future and connecting donors who care with causes that matter.
