Welcome Acworth Performing Arts Complex Fund to our CCF Fund Family

The City of Acworth has a very appropriate tagline that says “You’re Welcome in Acworth”.  It only takes a drive down Main Street, Center Street or Beach Street or over the tracks to Logan Park and the Community Center to see the popularity of Acworth and the full parking spaces prove it!

The Acworth Performing Arts Complex Fund is the fundraising vehicle for the Acworth Performing Arts Complex:  a venue for year-round musical performances, community theatre, gospel celebrations, country music, local dance company performances, symphony concerts, first-class art exhibits and community arts schools.

Currently, the dance companies in town leave the area for their performances. Acworth-based Impact Dance of Atlanta calls Stillwell Theatre on KSU’s campus its performance home, but some Acworth residents travel as far as Roswell to see the local dance troops perform.

The Acworth Performing Arts Complex will increase community involvement, strengthen and support both public and private schools, develop creativity and imagination, enhance social and emotional growth and mental health, while promoting inclusion and unity of Acworth.  As the only civic community arts complex in North Cobb County, the complex was also increase tourism generating important revenue for restaurants, brew houses, and shop owners.

With the revitalization of downtown – both Lakeside and Parkside – it’s time to put a crowning touch on our community core.

The Acworth Performing Arts Complex will not start construction this year as fundraising will take several focused years to raise both public and private dollars. The Acworth Cultural Arts Council’s PAC (Performing Arts Complex) Fund Committee is prepared to first raise $50,000.
