Elena joined Cobb Community Foundation at the beginning of March as our new Finance Director.
Elena started her accounting career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse, where she worked in South Bend, Indiana, as well as Germany and Chicago. She has over 25 years of experience working for not-for-profits, including most recently as the Director of Administration at the Roswell Presbyterian Church in Roswell, Georgia.
Elena lives in Marietta and can often be found at one of the nearby national parks hiking the trails with her dog, Teagan. She is also active as the Treasurer of her HOA, as well as with a weekly Ignatian prayer group and a Catholic book club. She loves to cook, read mysteries, garden and paint with watercolors. During football season, Elena loves to watch the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, as she worked for ND for 10 years. Go Irish!
